I'm not all too familiar with skin lighting products. I do know of a few that I have heard lightings a substantial amount.
One product I have heard great reviews about is Godiva Lighting Lipgloss. What better then to be lighting your lips while putting on your daily lipgloss?

Another product I am familiar with is ANEW CLINICAL Plump & Smooth Lip System. Although it says Plump and Smooth it also has ingredients that retain the natural color of your lips. As you said, it is just as of recent that this color has appeared. You can find this product at my web site
