Hi all,*I am a college student having oily skin problem. I used so many creams and lotions but nothing worked out. I would appreciate if someone can suggest how to reduce oiliness of the face.

hi,I also have oily skin. I found a great product which I used before for my oily skin problem but it is expensive. It is called Clinac OC by Ferndale Labs. It is a kind of gel put on the face 2 minutes before to put makeup on. Note: This is only for temporary solution.

Hi sandy,*Use astringent for the oily skin. It dries and helps with acne and breakouts. It comes out with a shine contrl powder and wipes. Just wipe them on your oily face they remove oil. I am sure they will work, use and see.

Hey,*I am 24 and have oily skin too. I do not think there is a product in the market that really stops oil, it’s natural but can minimize it. I am using clean and clear oil adsorbing sheets instead of using more makeup. I heard about wirch hazel is also a good product but haven’t tried. *Do you know one thing? Dry skin will wrinkle faster where as oilier skin can go without aging wrinkles.

I think some people have natural oily skin or hair!! they just need to use the appropriate products!! my sister has oily skin and she always used to wash her face occasionally with soap and put some cream adpated for oily skin on it..

Yes Brain, oily skin do exist and ther are many people having oily skin problems!
There are severall reasons for that, firstly,it might be the peson's nature to have oily skin!
Secondly, it might be the products she is using, so it would be better to change it!
Thirdly it can also be the types of foods she is having, you never know!
So keeping all this in mind, she should find out the possible reason for her oily skin to be able to treat it!

Hi dear, there are few things which you should try to avoid inorder to treat your oily skin problem;

You must stop your skin pores from being clogged. For this purpose you should do skin cleansing with plenty of hot water and soap.

Do not use harsh products because they can strip your skin of oil and encourage flakiness.

Do not use skincare products which leave your skin feeling stretched tight and dehydrated.

Do use oil-free moisturizers to lessen the oil shine on your complexion.
Wash your face two to three times a day.
