I have the same dry skin problem, i use Soft-E-Lotion. It is rich with vitamin E. And the latter is very good, is non-greasy, fragrance free.

Vitamin E has been shown to play an important role in protecting skin from environmental and oxidative damage.

Like in your case since you are moving from one region to another you might this lotion.

Heard of vitamin E for dry skin..
But here's a facial effective against dry skin:
Two or three times a week, simmer a total of 2 to 4 tablespoons of dried or fresh herbs in 2 quarts of water.
When the pot is steaming, place it on top of a trivet or thick potholder on a table, and sit with your face at a comfortable distance over the steam for fifteen minutes.
You can use a towel to trap the steam if you wish.
After fifteen minutes, splash your face with cold water and allow your skin to air dry or pat it dry with a towel.
After the sauna, you can allow the herbal water to cool and save it for use as a toning lotion to be dabbed on your face with a cot- ton ball after cleansing.

No, I’ve not tried Glysomed. I’m actually also in search of a good moisturizer. I hope Glysomed is the one I’m searching for. I’ll try to have a sample of it so that I can try it. Later I’ll tell you it is really worth or not.

After listening to Gazelle and Jolly, i presume that the Glysomed must really be an effective and nourishing cream. I sincerely think you should try the product and if ever you find out that it is not that effective then no matter, you would probably come across another effective one!

I think my mother in law uses the Glysomed cream which her dermatologist recommended her for her flaking and dry skin, im sure it must be an effective cream as her dermatologist is a well known and experienced derma!

If you are having severe cracks then you need to use either petroleum jelly or Vaseline. They are very effective for quick recovery. They’ll block the gap formed due to the crack. It would be a bit uncomfortable since they are oily and sticky but you don’t have any other way out.

Glysomed is okay; use it. But do not forget to use a sunscreen if you are always on the move. The sun can be the cause of your dry skin. Wear hats to protect yourself from the sun. There are moisturizers that provide sun protection; try using them.

Yep, I think any really thick cream, like Bag Balm will do the trick but it will help a lot if you sleep with cotton gloves on your hands at night.
