hi guys! i'm Lavender... was looking for some beauty tips and chanced over this website. it looks great and am looking forward to sharing information and beauty tips with you people one thing though... isn't beauty more of a social concept? something that varies from person to person and society to society?

agree with you lavender....beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder...eveyone is beautiful in its own way thats what people don't understand...actually why people feel they are not beautiful its because of film actresses who are made to appear beautiful..competition likke miss world, miss universe all these made people think that their are people who look dashing and they are not as such they get frustrated over themselves....beauty is a realative concept...

hats off to you honey7! it all depends on the person's taste. and like you said, the beauty pageants have somehow stereotyped the concept of beauty and i think that's awfully sad. so does it mean that someone who doesn't have a perfect figure isn't beautiful? that's pretty cheap, nah?...

you're right Lavender!!! that IS pretty cheap! but then on the other hand, people shouldn't let themselves be influenced so much by these pageants and stuff... i mean, the extremes that these participants, stars or top models can go to just to look the way they do... yikes

Everyone is beautiful is his own way.

One shud nt go for things like following fashion blindly n all. This makes everyone uniform when true beauty lies in being different n unique.

i don't personally judge people by their physical appeareance. i learn to appreciate them as they are. i care not for their physical beauty but the one which comes form the heart. it's the way people live in society that make them look beautiful. we are all different and beautiful in every way. if we are true to each and everyone then everything will be beautiful.
