Hi guys...last time i went to see the doctor because i suffer from blurred vision...he told me to wear glasses but the problem is that i feel uncomfortable...i want to use contact lenses and i wanna to know if anyone has used it...

I have a lot of friends who wear contact lenses and they are very happy and confortable with them... So try them, u won't have any problem

hi hearty...dnt b upset abt this.... u can wear specs without fear...i use them on and off... for the first time get the advice of ur optician n he will know which shape of lenses would suit u...u know he'd do like a small test..adaptability test...and then he'l show u how to wear them, clean them and remove...its every easy believe me...n its a big change from wearing specs... first time i was apprehensive n so scared to try them on-i held the doc's hnd away from my face!!! bt then she gradually made me feel easy by explaining the whole process n by the end of the day i was comfortable with them..... go for it-have no fear

just be sure you're getting the right type of contact lenses. there are soft lenses and hard lenses... i've some friends who have had problems with the hard lenses so maybe you could go for the soft ones... as long as you're comfortable with what you're doing it should be ok, take care!

Keep in mind that its a lot more pain to put them on ya know? Anyway, the thing with contact lenses is that you can have them the colour you want no prob!
This may change your whole look! or ruin it.. depends on you..

Hi Hearty, if you're not wild about having to wear spectacles all the time, you can wear contact lens, its comfortable, convenient and soft. You can try and if by then ur not convinced they are right for you then you can opt for the specs.....

what about laser eye surgery?? i had it and its excellant

hey why will you go for surgerry if you can opt for contact lenses as you don want spec that your choice and they are painless they just need to get adapt with in the begining

Hello Hearty! I had the same problem as you when I first had to wear contact lenses. In fact I'm still not comfortable with them if I wear them too long. My eyes start to itch etc. I switch between my specs and my lenses. You could do the same. If you worry about your looks then use the specs when you're alone and the lenses when you go out. As for me I also wear my glasses when I go out cause sometimes I feel much more sexy with them depending on what outfit I'm wearing. What fun with the lenses is that I can change the color of my eyes. This can be cool and sexy too. The problem with the specs is that they leave a mark on my nose and I don't like that.
