Hi Coco!!I have curly hair ..and they look dry too!but it's not the same for everybody...u have to use a good shampoo and conditionner for dry hair , you have some mask you can put in your hair after the conditionner...you can also put some olive oil in your hair one day before you wash them, it really works!

hi coco.... regularly oiling the hair n using a hair mask after ur conditioner is a gud method to prevent this dry look and eventually prevent the hair from getting dry....choose a hair mask that suits ur hair type to get better results

Well Coco, curly hairs are really very beautiful !!!

I too have curls that I prefer to be voluminous, and for this reason I don't try to do my hair the same day - it's so moisturizing that it does weigh down my hair that day. I just rinse it out and put it in a ponytail the rest of the day. The next day I wash and condition as usual and I'm back to having the big curls that I like.

Yeah it does Coco, my sister has curly hair and she always complains about her dry hair while i don't have these problems! I pity her....beautiful curly hairs demands lots of treatment, did you know that?

I also have dry and damaged hair but managed to maintain it now, I used to use products from Joico silk result which didn't cost me at all because the woman at the salon gave it to me for free, plus a conditioner it really is good ! I heard also Olive oil can help to softe and moisturize dry hair.

Ohh, im so sorry that you have to go through with that about your curly hair. However, i dont know any good products to advise you about that may help, but if i do find any, i will let you know.

Meanwhile, i hope someone out there has an answer.

Yes, Curly hair is almost always dry hair and this is so because oils produced in the scalp don’t travel down the hair shaft as they do with straight hair. You should look for wheat germ oil, shea butter & nut oils (macadamia, for example) in your shampoos.

Brush your hair frequently during the day to drain the oil on your scalp to the tip of the hair. In curly hairs this oil is not distributed that’s why they remain drier than straight ones.

Emu oil Shampoo and Conditioner is the best sampoo for curly hair also and you would for sure maintain the beautiful hair you have as Emu oil is the only ingredient that we know that can moisturize the hair enough. It is also effective for the scalp.
