I do have very sensitve eyes!!.I have had really bad eye itch problems and even conjunctivitis from eye shadows and mascara getting in my eyes.
I dunno why i developed conjunctivitis with an eye shadow?? i mean aren't the manufacturers supposed to make the products as safe as possible??

I prefer to restrain from the eyeshadows now!!

Have you been to the doctor??? does the medical rapport show that its with the mascara that you have contracted the conjonctivist..according to me, I don;t think its the mascara that caused it...are you wearing the mascara for the first time?? it may be you are allergy to the product but that doesn't mean the productis not good.

Well hippie do you actually know if this particular eyes shadows and mascara as you said contain some products which you are actually allergic to?? It may have been caused by this as well!! You should tell your doctor about this and do some tests to see whether this fact is conceivable or not!! Actually I would advice you not to used any product you are not used to before you are certain about what had happened to you and what are the risks you could undergo!!

Hi Hippie, you should henceforth be more careful when applying eye shadows

and mascara, always remember not to let mascara get into your eyes, you

should do your eye make up in a professional way, learn how to apply them first.

There are all sorts of products on the market and you should be the one to

know which product are you using, if is a good one or not and should also not

let them get in your eyes when applying!

Hippie, Conjunctivitis can never occur because of eye shadow. They are caused due to: Bacterial (e.g. from an infectious cause), Viral (e.g. from cold viruses), Allergic (e.g. from hay fever) and Chemical (e.g. from lab chemical fumes)
