Do you khol....also known as al-kahl, kajal, or surma, kohl is used in some parts of the world to enhance the appearance of the eyes, i guess all girls must have used it at least once ......
The bad news about Khol kajal is that it is unapproved for cosmetic use because it was recently found that Kohl consists of salts of heavy metals, such as antimony and lead which could damage the eye.... |

There are certain Kohl that contain lead!!
Kohl is actually good for it protects the eyes from the glare!! You should buy only those that do not contain lead.. Originally made from the ash of frankincense, kohl was later made from powdered antimony, a metallic element often containing lead, arsenic, phosphates and other impurities. Kohls containing lead have been banned in the United States and Great Britain. |
