Of course coconut oil has lots of nutritive value for the hair. It is rich in lauric acid, which has anti-viral, antibacterial and anti-fungal properties. I don’t like to use the oil because it is very sticky I prefer the coconut cream version.

I do realize that coconut oil is one of the best and cheapest forms of hair treatment. But I can’t stand its smell. I don’t really use it. If I get one with a nice smell then I’ll use it. Otherwise, no way for me to use it.

Maybe coconut is a fine oil but I prefer Botanical Hair Oil: with Shea, Avocado and Jojoba. It helps to rejuvenate, condition, impart shine and manageability for all hair types - without chemicals.

Yes, i have heard of this several time from my mummy, she always insists to apply coconut oil on my head, but i always find some ways to avoid this!

If you have very hair....don't go for expensive shampoo, apply coconut oil once a week all over your hair and let it for around an hour or two.....and wash it with an ordinary shampoo..the oil will repair ur damaged hair....
You are right, this is what i used to tell her, i am using nutritional and treating shampoo and it is not necessary to apply it on my head despite knowing im wrong and it's no the same thing.

Can anyone explain how oil can my hair benefit from coconut oil?
What makes oil so effective?
My problem is that I hate oil and I’m not ready to use it without any valid justification.
