Semipermanent color takes 48 hours to set so you have a window of time to get to it. First, shampoo a couple times with a clarifying or dandruff shampoo.
These are known to strip hair of color (which is why you're constantly told not to use these on colored hair).
If you missed your 48 hour window of time, don't worry, semipermanent color washes out in 6-8 washes.

If the color is permanent, it will be harder to remove, but a professional colorist should be able to help.
So, how should we normally proceed, should we dye the hair at home by taking into consideration your instructions or have it done to a professional colorist?
Im really confused!

I use henna to dye my hair. I’ve never use any chemical on my hair.
I’d advise to stay away from chemical products.
Try henna, they equally good as the chemical dyes.

Why do it at home. There are so many beauty parlors. Do your coloring in a beauty parlor. No need to take any risk. They’ll a product that suits your hair and the result will be better.

You are right that we shouldn’t take risks with our hair; it’s preferable to use semi-permanent dyes. There are natural dyes that are equally effective and absolutely harmless. Better we start with them then semi-permanent.

Can anyone suggest a good semi-permanent dye for hair? I’d like to try one. I’ve always done my hair coloring at parlors because I fear that I’ll do it wrongly. Doing it at the parlors cost lots of money. The semi=permanent coloring I think I can try it at home since they are nit permanent.

at first i thought that i would dye my hair at home itself but now i have changed my mind, i would rather go to a hair professional, you are right girls!
Good decision, even i would trust a hair professional rather than trusting myself!

Well, that for some who is about to color her hair but what about those who have already used a permanent dye and are not satisfied. What would you suggest them to do?
That’s why I never do coloring. I have coppery colored hair. They are very nice. In fact this color is very rare. You can find many people with this hair color but they are artificial because they have got this color by hair dye.
