I have always used waxing as the only way to have my eyebrows done..usually at the beauty parlour!! but i friend of mine suggested that i go for threading!! she says that threading will get to shape my eyebrows better,,giving it that arched look we're all looking for!! but she also warned me that it's gonna pain like hell in the first session!!
Does anyone around here do threading?? is it really worth it?? and can i get to do it myself or do i need to go to the beauty parlour??
And also how long it's gonna last before i need another session??

Threading the eyebrows is used mainly for eyebrows and facial hair.nornmally a person skilled in threading should perform the method. the results would last up to 3 weeks time..approximately the same as waxing!!
But i'm sure that threading your eyebrows will be more convenient for you as it does give one that arched eyebrows that every girl's dying for..provided it's done professionally by a well-trained person!!
I won't advise you to do it yourself as it's quite difficult!!

i can guarantee you that only the first 2 sessions are gonna be painful and the longer the hair, the more painful it is to have it threaded!! i personally prefer threading than waxing, which tears the skin off my upper lip area and leaves a scar. Threading leaves my skin smooth and the hair doesn't grow back as quickly!!

thats not something meant for me guys. reading what you
have written and hearing people talk about it around me i
dont think i would ever go in for something like this. anyways
me i prefer to get my eyebrows done by asing tweezers. it does
take time but it is less painful and awesome than threading

I do think that threading is better than tweezing your eyebrows!! tweezing can actually rip your skin off at times and create scars on the eyebrows which look rather unsighty!! whereas threading is a way of removing the eyebrows really quickly and you feel the pain only for a short time period as many hairs are pulled out at one go whereas tweezing has hair pulled one at a time!!
I was reluctant to go for it too..but now i do think it's the best option for you girls!!!

Threading the eyebrows is better since it is easier to shape the eyebrows. Threading involves removal of the hair one by one so you are sure that the beautician will shape them well. Moreover, they are not that painful that we can’t tolerate. Waxing is good where you need to remove hair on large areas like the leg.

You have to go to the beauty parlor, you would there get an idea how do the remove the eyebrow hair, i don't think it hurts like hell as my sister has never complained about it, being a someone very sensitive.
Normally my sister goes to the parlor to thread her eyebrows after every three weeks.

The eyebrow waxing is very painful as compared to threading the eyebrows. You can avoid the pain by applying cleansing milk over the eyebrow area to be plucked. Threading is less painful because this method is pretty quick as compared to tweezers.

You need be afraid to that extent. It is true that this is your first time that you are going to do threading and this fear is obvious but you need to think that if the pain is unbearable then why so many girls would do it.
