Hello mille!! i do think that you need to take care of your acne first and then see what can be done about the skin discoloration...me too i was in your situation a few weeks ago and my doctor prescribed me some minocyclazine which really helped the acne but also did darken my complexion!!
now am so frustrated coz i can't get back my original honey color!!

Here's a natural recipe that you can use to improve your complexion and make your skin lighter:
You need to mix dry orange peels with curd and apply on the blemishes.
You then wash it off with cold water after 15 minutes!!
Do this treatment for a few days time and watch for the results!!

There are no acne treatments specifically for use on dark skin. Acne treatments are generally as safe and effective on dark skin as on light skin. Some treatments for acne scars may cause temporary lightening of dark skin.

Acne is a common skin disease that has the same causes and follows the same course in all colors of skin.

i would suggest you to try a lightening cream to use to lighten your complexion!!

You need to take care of your acne problem first of all and then work on your complexion..
Have you tried the remedies or medications for acne??
For people with oily skin, the perfect home remedy is to apply a paste made by mixing sandalwood and few drops of rosewater on the acne affected area for about an hour and then wash off gently.

Hi, i would suggest the same as Candie, a treatment for the acne and dark blemishes is the priority, once these are gone, you would get back the glowing of your face and lighter complexion!
Use natural anti-bacterial non-oily products, applying sandalwood for about 15 mins everyday would also help as it provides antiseptic properties, drying the acne and control the pimples.

Hi Millie,
Don’t get upset. There are so many products available in the market, but I personally prefer natural based chemical free products. You can try Fairness Cream with Real Pearl which is absolutely herbal based. I heard about this cream which is quite effective.

That enami fairness cream seems to be the good option, why don't you go for it?

Just try to spend less time in the sun, that's all that could remedy to that!
