A few days ago I dyed my hair black. My natural hair color is dark brown and I like my hair really dark, but the black color doesn't look too good on me . I want to fade it a bit and make it tone down a little faster.
I have heard that washing your hair with shampoo several times and putting hot olive oil in it makes it fade faster. Is this true? I would like some tips on using the oil and anything else I can use naturally at home that won't harm my hair. I am also growing out a perm, so the ends of my hair still have a bit of that in it.

I think you can try the natural remedy which you've heard of...
unfortunately i've never heard about it so i don't really know if that works or not but it seems to be harmless overall!! so go for it and tell us if that works... i really hope for you that it does!!

i don't think you should be using hot olive oil as this will only burn your scalp and cause your hair to weaken. coconut oil is a very good remedy for the scald. you should never heat the oil just warm it a bit in a water bath suth that it is not too hot. and another thing for a natural conditionner is to use honey in the hair instead of the conditionner you use and see how it makes the hair look lively and healthy. dont forget to rinse it off as otherwise it will attract bees and ants!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Are those tips true or you just heard of them somewhere?!
I don't know why you don't like your hair, as it seems that they already are beautiful! Did you try the hot olive oil yet? I know that the hair is a dead thing and that you can't feel it, but still, didn't you burn your scalp with the hot oil?! Weird practices!!!!

Why are you choosing the complicated solution CAndie, if i were you i would have color my hair a second time, the more simple! I heard when having colored the hair and washing it several times, the effect would become more vibrant and i even experienced it! So washing your hairs would make it even more black and better opt for another coloration.

This is quite complicated, i don't understand what do you really want to do with your hair! This is how most of you end up in damaging your beautiful hairs, you do everything without even consulting a hair specialist and this is bad.
Anyways, i would advice you to go to a hair specialist and he would find a solution for you.

Why don't you wait for some times till the black color fades away naturally Candie, its not safe the way you are treating your hair, using olive oil is fine but hot oil might burn you scalp and moreover washing the hair several times also is not advisable. Either you take help from a hair specialist or you wait for the color to go away naturally but don't ever try the impossible!

Normally you will now have to wait for a certain time before you apply another color to your hair! A friendly advice, do not apply all sorts of things you don't even know in your hair!
Have some patience to get back the color you wanted!

I’ve not heard about olive oil but the sun easily bleaches hair. Just get your hair exposed to the sun often; your hail; will fade out.

If the color is a permanent one then it won’t fade out with water and shampoo. There are solutions called bleaches which can remove the color. I would advise you to bleach your hair at the saloon.
