Eyeshadows sure does make my eyes stand out...you can create each shape and look that you want just by selecting the right one. Eyeshadows do not only make your eyes look bigger, they can also add drama and draw attention to your eyes. However drawing a perfect shade may often take some practice, but with the right technique, you can do it in no time.
You must also learn how to select the correct eyeshadow form as they comes in several formulations. Matte eyeshadows blend easily and are perfect for beginners, as they can be both used for creating a soft daytime look or a heavy smoky eye.
If you are not so much into eyeliners, you can opt for powder eyeshadows that can also be used as eyeliner, as long as the color is densely pigmented. Used with a fine-tipped brush, powder eyeshadow gives the softest, most natural look.

Hey nathalie you should use a good cleanser to clean the area around the eyes...you probably know that the eye-area is really very sensitive and should be taken care of...there are cleasing lotions especially adapted for the eyes..i use the Yves Rocher Eye cleasning milk and toner for my eyes area and another toner for my face!!

I would advise you before you start putting on eyeshadow, pat a bunch of excess powder under your eyes. That way you can easily brush away all the little bits of unwanted eyeshadow that will fall on your face while you work. You might actually want to dab some powder under your eyes before you do your eyebrows if you're lining them with powder.

Eye shadows are things that I despise the most. The colors that are used are too artificial. Some uses red or even blue color. Do you find it appealing? I feel they are too horrible.

I like blues and reds. I love bright colors, the trick is to apply it correctly and with other more natural colors.
